Preparing for the South Pacific

We have been in Chama, New Mexico, since June. The cabin needed some preventative maintenance, so that has kept us very busy. We enjoyed a beautiful summer. In early December we had several snow storms move through--we loved it. When we left on December 15, we had approximately 2 feet of snow. It was just spectacular with snow covering everything.

Our original plan was to head south to Central and South American this season; however, we have since decided to head for the South Pacific. We will return to San Carlos, Mexico, the last week of December in order to get our projects done to prepare the boat for the cruise.

When we finish with our work, we will head over to La Paz to spend the rest of our time relaxing and waiting for a weather window in March.

I like the idea of the blogs. I will enjoy keeping track of our friends on their adventure. Mona helped deliver a baby last night. A first for her.
